Medical Security Program

 Sometimes people with special needs require law enforcement assistance in the community.

This program is for anyone who:

  • Cannot remember their address or phone number
  • Wanders from home and fails to return
  • Has problems with their medication and becomes confused or disoriented when they are in the community
  • Is fearful of law enforcement and cannot or will not talk to officers

The program is voluntary and free!

 Individuals may contact MHA staff to sign up.

  • An identification card and bracelet will be given to you with your registration number
  • Officers will be able to provide you immediate assistance through your computerized emergency contact information
  • You and/or your family will no longer worry about your safe return
  • You will get the emergency help you need when you need it
  • Confidential
