The Mental Health Association (MHA) in Indian River County (a United Way agency), has coupled their Walk-In Center Open House on Friday, November 16 with the launching of their new look and feel campaign.

kris and barbara“The MHA has been in operation for over 40 years in Indian River County,” states Kristine Sarkauskas, President and CEO of the MHA. “With the advent of our powerful TurtleTrax initiatives presented over the past few years, our exposure to the community has increasingly grown. Thanks to the strong recognition we have received in Indian River County, it was time to create a new look and feel for our organization.”

MHA will be showcasing their new logo, brochures and interactive website at the November 16th Open House.  “Our new look and feel gives us a modern corporate identity which reflects a more welcoming image than the traditional bell which has been our logo for years,” said Barbara Hammond, Chairman of the MHA Board of Directors. “We wanted the logo to include soothing colors and portray an uplifting and transforming feel, paralleling what our clients experience when they reach out to MHA for help and what we can offer them in return. We have achieved that and are very pleased.” The look and feel campaign was created by Kezer Corporation of Melbourne, FL.

“In addition to our new look campaign, we are introducing the slogan, ‘It’s OK to Get Help’ in our broadcast and print advertisements and public service announcements,” Sarkauskas explains.”  The face of depression looks like people in history, in the news, our friends, co-workers and loved ones. We want to send the message to everyone that if there is a problem, don’t shy away from it…It’s Ok to Get Help.”
