Thank You, Indian River Community Foundation

Jeff Pickering presents a $25,000 check to the MHA
Jeff Pickering of the Indian River Community Foundation presents the Mental Health Association in Indian River County with a generous grant to enrich our community.

The Mental Health Association in Indian River County would like to thank the Indian River Community Foundation for their generous grant provided by the Community Enrichment Fund. We are so grateful for your support.

The Mental Health Association reached 1,383 students in Indian River middle and high schools through our School Violence & Suicide Prevention Program last year. In addition, the MHA provided 124 hours of school-based crisis intervention and 37 hours of critical incident response. The Indian River Community Foundation's donation of $35,000.00 will help us meet our goal of reaching even more students in 2021.

Thank you, Indian River Community Foundation, for partnering with us to make our community happier and healthier.

How YOU Can Help Us Further

Every day in the United States, 1,349 students attempt to commit suicide. We have all read about the violent attacks in our schools across our nation. No one should have to deal with the loss of a child. That's why we are working with the School District to offer our School Violence & Suicide Prevention Program. And we need your help. This grant, plus your donation will save lives.

The MHA needs donors, like you, to donate so we can continue to make a positive impact on the youth of our community. Won’t you help us so we can continue to keep our schools safe & help our student cope with the ever changing needs in our community?
