"This award recognizes a funded partner of the United Way of Indian River County who has demonstrated excellence in the following three areas: Programmatic & Administrative Excellence, Community Collaboration & Outreach, and Unity Way Support.
As Jeff Smith, United Way of IRC Board Chair-elect delivered the award, he said “The agency receiving the 2017 award has made a tremendous impact on this community, especially in the last five years. It provides a tremendous and much-needed service to this community by an impressive professional staff, a strong and effective board, and outstanding leadership. This agency is a valued partner for United Way, takes an active role in our Health Advisory Group, and to give it away, offers a full range of mental health services on a sliding fee scale.”
